Welcome to A Plus Renovation LLC. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (https://aplusrenovation.llc), our services, and any communications you receive from us. By using our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Services Description
A Plus Renovation LLC provides residential and commercial renovation services, including but not limited to:
- Kitchen remodeling
- Bathroom remodeling
- Roofing
- Flooring installation
- Painting
- Full home renovations
- Additions and extensions
- Repairs and handyman services
Specific scope, materials, timelines, and pricing for any project will be detailed in a separate written estimate or contract provided to you prior to work commencing.
2. Eligibility & Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website, request services, opt into our communications, or enter into any agreement with A Plus Renovation LLC.
By using our website or services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- You are not prohibited by law from receiving our services
If you are under 18, please do not use our website, submit any information through our forms, or attempt to engage our services. We do not knowingly contract with or collect information from minors. If you become aware that a minor has submitted information through our website, please contact us immediately and we will take prompt action.
Parents and legal guardians who wish to engage our services for a minor's residence may do so on the minor's behalf as the contracting party.
We reserve the right to verify age and refuse service to anyone we reasonably believe to be under 18 years of age.
3. Estimates and Quotes
- All estimates and quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified.
- Estimates are based on visual inspection and information provided by the customer at the time of consultation. Hidden conditions discovered during the work (e.g., water damage, structural issues, code violations) may require change orders and additional costs.
- A signed estimate or contract is required before work begins.
4. Pricing and Payment
Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required before materials are ordered or work begins, as specified in your project contract.
- Progress payments may be required at agreed milestones for larger projects.
- Final payment is due upon completion of the work, subject to the customer's reasonable acceptance of the finished work.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment by check, cash, credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. Specific accepted methods will be detailed in your project contract.
Late Payments
Invoices not paid within the timeframe specified in the contract may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by Colorado law, whichever is lower.
5. Project Timeline and Scheduling
- Estimated start and completion dates are provided in good faith based on current scheduling, supplier availability, and project scope.
- Timelines may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, permit processing, or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any expected delays as soon as we become aware of them.
- Customer-caused delays (e.g., delayed material selections, access issues, change requests) may extend the project timeline.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property and project requirements
- Grant our team reasonable access to the work area during agreed work hours
- Remove or protect personal belongings in or near the work area
- Make timely decisions regarding material selections and design choices
- Pay all invoices in accordance with the agreed payment schedule
- Not interfere with the work of our team or subcontractors
7. Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. Unless otherwise specified in your project contract:
- Workmanship Warranty: A Plus Renovation LLC provides a one (1) year warranty on labor and workmanship from the date of project completion.
- Materials Warranty: Materials supplied are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist customers in pursuing manufacturer warranty claims when applicable.
- Warranty Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, normal wear and tear, alterations or repairs by other parties, or acts of nature.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Customer
- You may cancel a signed contract within 3 business days of signing for a full refund of any deposit paid (in accordance with Colorado's Three-Day Right to Cancel for door-to-door sales).
- Cancellations after the 3-day window may be subject to forfeiture of deposit and reimbursement for any materials ordered or labor performed up to the cancellation date.
Cancellation by A Plus Renovation LLC
We reserve the right to cancel a project if:
- The customer materially breaches the contract
- Site conditions are unsafe or unworkable
- Required permits cannot be obtained
- Payment terms are not met
In such cases, the customer will be invoiced for work completed and materials supplied to the cancellation date.
9. Insurance and Licensing
A Plus Renovation LLC is licensed and insured to operate in the State of Colorado. Proof of license and insurance is available upon request.
10. Subcontractors
We may use qualified subcontractors for specialized work (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC). All subcontractors are vetted, licensed where required, and held to the same quality and conduct standards as our direct employees.
11. Permits and Code Compliance
- We will obtain all required building permits for your project as part of the contract scope unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All work will be performed in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal building codes.
- Permit fees, if not included in your initial estimate, will be billed separately or added via change order.
12. Materials and Change Orders
Materials
- Materials specified in your contract will be ordered after the contract is signed and any required deposit is received.
- Substitutions of equal or better quality may be made if specified materials become unavailable, with notice to the customer when possible.
- Customer-supplied materials are accepted at the customer's risk; we cannot warranty work performed using customer-supplied materials.
Change Orders
Any changes to the scope of work after contract signing must be agreed to in writing via a change order. Change orders may affect the timeline and total project cost.
13. Photography and Marketing Use
We may photograph completed projects for portfolio, marketing, and social media use. Photographs will not include identifying personal information (e.g., addresses, family photos). If you do not wish for photographs of your project to be used, please notify us in writing prior to project completion.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- A Plus Renovation LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or emotional distress.
- We are not liable for damages caused by acts of nature, third parties, or pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of estimate.
15. Communications (SMS, Email, Phone)
By providing your phone number or email address, you agree to receive communications from A Plus Renovation LLC related to your inquiries, projects, appointments, and our services.
- SMS messages: You may receive text messages including appointment reminders, project updates, and follow-ups. Message and data rates may apply. Reply "STOP" to opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full SMS terms.
- Emails: You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the "unsubscribe" link.
- Phone calls: You may request to be added to our internal Do-Not-Call list by notifying us in writing.
We comply with all applicable communications laws including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CAN-SPAM Act.
You must be at least 18 years of age to opt into any communications channel.
Carrier Liability Disclaimer
By opting into our SMS communications, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan and the volume of messages received. A Plus Renovation LLC is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier as a result of receiving our messages.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for any delayed, failed, or undelivered messages. This includes messages affected by network outages, signal coverage issues, device problems, or carrier-side filtering.
- A Plus Renovation LLC cannot guarantee the timely or successful delivery of SMS messages and is not responsible for delays, failures, or non-delivery caused by your carrier, device, or any third-party service provider.
- Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Message deliverability cannot be guaranteed across all carriers, devices, or geographic regions.
- You release A Plus Renovation LLC and its messaging service providers (including SMS aggregators) from any claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from messages that are delayed, undelivered, modified, or otherwise affected by carrier networks, your device, or factors outside our reasonable control.
This disclaimer does not limit your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
16. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before pursuing formal legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting the other party in writing and allowing 30 days for a response.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Venue
Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arapahoe County, Colorado.
17. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
For active projects under contract, the Terms in effect at the time of contract signing will apply unless both parties agree in writing to modifications.
